A Bar chart is used to compare numeric values in a dataset. Bar charts help visualize a measure across one (single bar chart) or two dimensions (stacked or clustered bar chart). The values of the measure(s) are proportional to the lengths of the bar(s), the axis represents the dimension they are being measured on.

Example Query:SHOW ME TOTAL SALES ACROSS CATEGORIES

Format Interface

Note : A Bar chart can either be sketched vertically or horizontally.

Clustered Bar Chart

A Clustered Bar chart can display the values of multiple measures across the chosen dimension(s).

In a Clustered Bar Chart, bars are clustered into groups, where each bar represents the value of the individual measure across the dimension(s).

Example Query: SHOW ME TOTAL SALES ACROSS CATEGORIES BY SHIPPING MODE

Format Interface

Note : A Clustured Bar chart can either be sketched vertically or horizontally.

Stacked Bar Chart

A stacked bar chart is used to distinguish contributions of different measures to a Cumulative Measure across the chosen dimension(s).

Each stack represents a Cumulative Measure and the divisions in the stacked bar indicate the value(s) of individual measures(i.e...various categories) that contribute to that Cumulative Measure.

Example Query:SHOW ME TOTAL SALES ACROSS CATEGORIES BY SHIPPING MODE

Format Interface

Note : A Stacked Bar chart can either be sketched vertically or horizontally.
